Foundry guidelines for processing of FOPAT are being finalized.
Winter
  • By the time Thanksgiving rolled around, buyCASTINGS.com was relocated to our new facility in Miamisburg, OH. Under our new roof we will be able to accommodate the new program for the Army called TacFab (Tactical Fabrication), which will provide quick turnaround capability for parts production. We also have space to scale up production for the FOPAT technology, a foam pattern material for the investment casting industry. With our original machine installed, we were able to run many different tools and shipped patterns to a new customer before Christmas. We also purchased and started up a brand new machine to ramp up FOPAT production and conduct technology scale-up work for the Air Force SBIR Phase II Extension project.
