The
Approach: Five to
eight ideas are introduced
for
client consideration. Expanding programs, adding more choices for
participants and including innovative new benefits were the means of
raising benefits plans to new levels.
Often this challenge could be met with only marginal new costs
(if any at all.) Our action plan is accomplished in two-parts:
A preliminary report and a formal proposal. Phase
1 - Preliminary Report:
In
order to fully understand what is and what is not
going to work, it is necessary for us to prepare a preliminary report
prior to finalizing a proposed plan.
When the report is ready, it is reviewed in a joint effort to
assure that company objectives are appropriately met and to identify the
best ideas for optimization. It is the feedback
from this exercise that permits sharp focus on the key elements and
enables the second phase. Phase
2

Formal Proposal:
Whereas
the preliminary report was broad-based - the formal proposal is specific;
the preliminary report was not optimized - the formal proposal is optimized. The
Bottom Line: A new innovative Health Care and Benefits Package that is
optimized with respect to costs and benefits for both the employees and
employers!
