To the Metal Casting Industry

 
A little background on the people you deal with everyday at buyCASTINGS… buyCASTINGS is deeply involved in the metal casting industry and supports many of its activities. Bob Dzugan, President of buyCASTINGS is the Secretary on the Board of Directors of the local American Foundry Society chapter in Southwest Ohio and will become Chairman in two years. Bob is also Vice Chairman of the AFS 4L committee on Investment Casting and will become Chairman in June 2004. Working with the Department of Energy and their “states” program, he is also the casting specialist for the Industries of the Future Metal Casting Program in Ohio and will chair the Ohio Metal Casting Roadmap review in October 2003.

Since buyCASTINGS is about marketing foundries to potential buyers, it comes as no surprise that Neil Chaudhry, buyCASTINGS’ VP Business Development, is actively involved with the American Foundry Society’s Marketing Committee and Chairs the Subcommittee on Expositions & Trade Shows. In addition, Neil has headed up and has been involved in four foundry plant-wide assessments for the Department of Energy.

In summary, the staff of buyCASTINGS is highly involved in the U.S Metal Casting industry to assist in growing the use of metal castings, introducing new technology and helping in cutting costs through energy and process optimization.
