Simultaneous Manufacturing is the process Lawton has developed to enhance your development cycle time. It is a method where development, prototyping and manufacturing can all be going on at the same time. From your preliminary model Lawton is able to create direct replicas of your required shape from foam. Once approved they are able to enter that shape into a metal casting process.


While the engineer is creating final detail models Lawton is into the metal casting process. It is likely that Lawton will have your casting before you have final models. Once casting design is approved production tooling can begin. While production tooling is being built Lawton can create additional foam shapes to meet your sensitive timelines. It should be noted that, while the process selected for prototyping and short-term production may not be the same as that selected for production, both can run simultaneously until production process is proven out. Also, much of the data gathered during the prototype process can be utilized in assuring compliant production tooling.
