Bob Dzugan

buyCASTINGS.com was established in July 1999 as a part of the Edison Materials Technology Center (EMTEC) to assist foundries in becoming more Internet ready, e-commerce capable and more globally competitive. The business has been a private company since October 2000. Bob was formerly the Director of Casting Technology at EMTEC. He has a BS in Materials Engineering and has over 27 years industrial casting experience with companies such as Howmet, Hitchiner, TRW, and with GE Aircraft Engines where he held positions from process engineer to chief engineer. Bob has several patents for novel manufacturing of castings and was recognized by the Governor of Ohio, as well as the Ohio Cast Metals Association, for outstanding contributions to the advancement of the metal casting industry in Ohio. Bob is also on the Board of Directors of the Southwestern Ohio Chapter of the AFS, a Member of the AFS Investment Casting Research Committee, and on the Board of Directors of the Energy Industries of Ohio.
Neil Chaudhry

Neil brings over 22 years of experience in the metals and materials processing industry to buyCASTINGS.com. Neil is Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Development, responsible for revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and corporate operations. Neil's past experience includes product development for a specialty metals company, materials engineering for a large aerospace company, research engineer for a large steel company, and, most recently, technology transfer, marketing, operations and business development for the Edison Materials Technology Center. Neil has a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Columbia University, 1981; an MS in Metallurgy from MIT, 1983; and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida in 1990.
Dave Rauen
Project Manager
Dave has been in the casting industry for 23 years. He has worked and managed projects in four different manufacturing facilities, including work and accomplishments in the areas of: engineering (managerial, production and design,) production, technology projects, technical sales, and metallurgy. He has held the titles of Engineering Manager, Manager of Engineering/Manager of Technical Applications and Project Manager/Division Engineer. Those facilities included various metals, high production, medium production, and jobbing production. Methods included green sand, no bake sand, hot box, and quick set sands along with permanent molding and die cast molding. Added to the mix is experience with small half pound castings to castings exceeding 9,000 pounds. Dave has been an officer, Chairman, and Vice Chairman in both ASTM Committees and subcommittees, as well as equal Chairmanships in AFS. He has served as company representative of various code authorities and standards forums, also working on oversight of new standards development and testing methods. Post collegiate study (and application) has included: testing (destructive and non-destructive) quality systems, welding and fabrication standards, production improvement strategies and techniques, QFD and ISO implementation methods. Dave has also worked in areas of metal machining, metal coating methodology and metals fabrication.
Nick Cannell
Business Development
With a solid background in tooling, Mr. Nick Cannell has over 20 years of experience in metal castings, including positions on production, management and R&D sides of the casting industry. He is a member of the Ohio Cast Metals Association, a past Chairman with both the Canton chapter of the American Foundry Society, and the Cleveland Chapter of the North American Die Casting Association. Over the last 12 years, Mr. Cannell has been primarily involved in technology transfer with the casting industry. He has helped many foundries incorporate new technologies such as rapid prototyping, solidification modeling, and computed tomography reverse engineering/metrology into their everyday operations. He has been instrumental in assisting foundries to expand their capabilities.
